Barrister Lawrence Adebisi Adeyeye

Executive Chairman

Lawrence was educated at five different Universities and a Law School, in three different countries and obtained six qualifications in four disciplines. He obtained B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Geography from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria (1972); M.A. Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Nottingham, U.K (1976); M.Sc. Degree in Economics from Northeastern University,Boston,U.S.A ( 1982); LL.B (Hons) Degree in Law from the University of Lagos, Nigeria (1984); BL (Hons) from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos, Nigeria (1985) and Lastly, Post graduate Certificate in Health Planning and Management from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria (1991).

Before joining West Wood Industrial Technology as a Chairman, he worked in the Federal Ministry of National Planning (Now National Planning Commission) where he became the Chief Planning Officer in 1985. He later got appointment as the Director of Administration, Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile – Ife in February, 1989 and served in that capacity for almost eleven years before he retired from the public service in August, 1999.

After his retirement, he secured another appointment as the Assistant General Manager (Legal) at Monarch Communications Limited – a sister company of Industrial and General Insurance ( IGI) Lagos where he served for over five years.

Professor Pius Adewale Owolawi

Managing Director

Pius a dynamic young man, born in a village called Ile-Ife Nigeria. He received his B.Tech. Degree in Physics/Electronics from the Federal University of Technology (FUTA) in 2001, Nigeria. He started his career with Central Bank of Nigeria as a Resident Network Engineer. Afterwards, he proceeded for postgraduate studies where he obtained a master’s and a PhD in Electronics Engineering with specialization in Telecommunication and Information Technology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2006 and 2010 respectively. He also holds several professional certifications in information technology such as Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) and Professional (CCNP), Certified Wireless Administrator (CWNA) and Professional (CWSP), Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOA) and Systems Design (CFOS/D), Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), certification in Radio Planning and Optimization for 2G to 4G from TeleResources engineering Ltd in Australia and recently concluded a programme in Management Development Programme (MDP) through the University of Stellenbosch Business School.

He is a member of several professional bodies both in South Africa and internationally, such as; the Institute of Electrical Electronics (IEEE), South African Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineer (SAIEE), South African Radio Amateur League (SARL), South African Amateur Radio Satellite Association (SA AMSAT) etc. He has worked with several organizations/companies on engineering projects such as ESKOM (Energy Demand Side Management (DSM), Transnet (Embedded Remote Wireless Weight Gauge) and institutions such as University of KwaZulu-Natal, University of South Africa and Mangosuthu University of Technology where he is currently the Acting Head of Department in the Electrical Engineering Department. He sit on the board of West Wood Industrial Technology as the Managing Director and Head, of Information Management, Telecommunication and Training.

He has published several scientific papers, served as technical member of several journals and conferences and authored a book titled “Rain at SHF and EHF for Radio Links in South Africa” Published by a German publisher LAP LAMBERT academic publisher.

Mr. Adetona Owolawi

Senior Manager, Project & Technical Sales

Adetona Owolawi is the Senior Manager, Project & Technical Sales of West Wood Industrial Technology and Executive Director on the Board of GTOW BIWI Limited. Adetona has over 7 years’ active onshore and offshore Project Engineering and Execution, Technical/Commercial Business Development and Service delivery experience diffused with Project Scope appreciation, with Strict HSE consciousness and compliance in a Multicultural Service Environment in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Adetona is an alumnus of the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom with a Master’s degree in Energy Futures (Oil and Gas Engineering).
Prior to his current role at West Wood Industrial Technology, he had served in several capacities as the Project Manager of Brisktrade Offshore Support Services, Project / Planning Manager with Subweld Engineering Limited, Project Engineer with Second Adams International Limited and Business Development Officer with Manpower Limited, United Kingdom.


Mr. Adetokunbo Adelowo Adeyeye

Senior Manager, Engineering Services and Projects
Lowo is a Director and Senior Engineering Consultant. He has over 10 year’s cognate experience in the field of Information Management and Engineering both in London and Nigeria. He manages projects across a wide range of safety critical industries including the oil & gas industry. He has a BSc (Hons) degree in Chemical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and Master’s degree in Energy from University of Leeds, United Kingdom.


Mr. Alimi Akintayo

Business Development and Operations

Akintayo is an Information Technology specialist with a focus on E-Commerce, Business Analysis and Project Management at West Wood Industrial Technology and Chief Executive Officer at Fingalenz Digital Concepts.

His roles included the negotiation of contractual prices with Technical Partners, Developing new business strategy around our services and products, research into market trends and how to deliver on these using technologies and the development of marketing strategies for the engagement with clients.

Akintayo has a B.Tech (Hons) degree in Computer Science at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso. He is always looking for a new and challenging task, one which will make best use of his existing skills and experience while enabling further personal and professional development.

Engineer Ayodele Adesina

Senior Piping Engineer

He has over 11 years working experience, executing Engineering projects (in Nigeria and Overseas) within the Oil & Gas industry which include Front End Engineering/Basic Design (FEED), Detail Engineering Design and Facility Upgrade for the Upstream and Downstream sectors. He has worked in different capacities in various reputable Engineering Design Companies including as Lead Engineer with INTERNATIONAL ENERGY SERVICES LIMITED and as a Senior Piping Engineer with CAKASA – FLUOR.

He is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife.

He is also a registered member of Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), and a corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).


Mr. Niyi Ajala

Technical Services Manager (Drilling Equipment Procurement and Services)

Niyi, is the Technical Services Manager for Westwood Industrial Technology. He has over 4 years working experience in the Oil & Gas Industry in Canada, having worked with Schlumberger Canada as a Measurement While Drilling / Directional Driller for more than a year, he moved to Scientific International Drilling as a Directional Driller.

He later moved to Imperial Oil Resources (Exxon Mobile Canada) in 2014 as a Field Optimization specialist where he worked for few years before joining Westwood Industrial Technology as a Technical Services Manager – Drilling Equipment procurement and Services. He graduated from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Calgary, Canada with a Bachelor of Technology in Petroleum Engineering.
